The soil is tilled and ready for planting.

After some research and a visit to a planted high tunnel, we determined that we would plant the tomatoes two feet apart in three foot rows.

Peppers are planted 18" apart in three foot rows.

144 tomatoes and 147 peppers are planted. Each row is a different variety.

White mulch is laid between each row. This should reduce the soil temperature as much as 5 degrees.

As the tomatoes grow, cages are placed around the determinate ones ......

....while the indeterminate tomotes are staked using the "weave" method.

We also planted 2 - 30' rows of Okra.

In addition to the tunnel, we have additional tomatoes, peppers, melons, carrots, beans, cabage, etc. and 2 acres of sweet corn.
